I'm not going to have time to write up a proper account of this show. So check out the photos, the video, and here are the quick details:

I can't say anything nice about openers Antennas Up. Know that this long-standing ex-cover-band is chasing fans by reassembling disparate musical styles to create originals that are complete shit. In happier news, I enjoyed Cowboy Indian Bear's open and atmospheric music that blended a downtempo electronica feel with funky post-punk. Softee played a fun set including a couple of new songs that stretched the band's adorable indie pop oeuvre. The Dead Girls performed as a three-piece which accented the teeth in its power-pop. The band worked around the missing JoJo Longbottom by covering songs by The Replacements, Husker Du, and Cheap Trick. Man I love that band.
